This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is issued by Rivet Cloud Hosting Limited.

1. Prohibited Content

No illegal content, CSAM, infringing material, malware, or phishing.

2. Network & System Abuse

No DDoS, brute force, unauthorised access, open relays, or crypto‑mining without approval.

3. Email & Messaging

No spam. Maintain opt‑in records and honour unsubscribe mechanisms.

4. Fair Use & Resources

Do not exceed fair usage on CPU, RAM, storage, or bandwidth. Mass email requires consent and proper configuration.

5. Security

Keep software up to date, use strong credentials, and remediate vulnerabilities promptly.

6. Legal Compliance

Comply with applicable law including the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and Data Protection Act 2018.

8. Enforcement

We may suspend/terminate accounts for violations. For Resellers, breaches by end‑users may result in suspension of the Reseller service. We may remove or disable access to content we reasonably believe violates this AUP or the law.
